Overview
Lab analyzers and lab software do not speak the same language out of the box. Our middleware sits between them: it sends test orders to the analyzer machines and returns their results to the ordering system, automatically and in both directions.
The Challenge
Without middleware, lab staff retype orders at the instrument and copy results back by hand. That is slow, and every manual step is a chance for a transcription error. Labs also run instruments from many manufacturers, each with its own way of communicating.
